Animal Care Technician Job Summary:

The Animal Care Technician is responsible for the care and cleaning of all animals and animal enclosures in the Scruffy Tails Humane Society (STHS) building and property. All STHS staff are expected to treat every animal with kindness and ensure the five freedoms for animals are maintained: freedom from hunger and thirst; freedom from discomfort; freedom from pain, injury, and disease; freedom to express normal and natural behavior; and freedom from fear and distress.
